Judy Kent is being recognized by her community for her contributions to the sporting world.
Councillor Bill Roberts brought forward a motion during Prince Edward County’s Committee of the Whole meeting on Thursday afternoon at Highline Hall in Wellington to see Kent recognized for her achievements.
He said she is an amazing woman.

She will receive the Order of Sport award as a builder, for her tireless work at creating sporting opportunities for women, disabled and Indigenous athletes.
Council approved a motion to present Kent with a civic recognition award at the next meeting when physical public attendance is permitted once again.
