Wednesday is Canada Day and that means the vast majority of people will have the day off work.
All government offices and banks will be closed.
Public transit systems will not be running.
The Quinte Mall will be closed along with other retailers and grocery stores.
Beer and liquor stores will be closed.
Drug stores could be open but check ahead.
Also garbage and recycling will be picked up as usual.
Unfortunately because of the COVID-19 pandemic there will be no fireworks or other major public events.
However, some communities are holding virtual Canada Day events.
