Belleville police were called to Thurlow around 10:45 p.m. Saturday night for reports of a single vehicle car crash.
Police say a man crashed his car into a sign and ended up in a ditch while trying to avoid a car that came into his lane around 10:45 p.m. yesterday.
The car had to be towed out of the ditch.
The man was unable to give any description of the vehicle due to the darkness, and police are asking anyone with information to call the Belleville Police Service (613-966-0882) or Quinte Crime Stoppers (1-800-222-8477).
