Members of the Peterborough County and Bancroft Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a motor vehicle collision on Highway 28 at approximately 6:45 p.m. Monday evening.
Witnesses reported that a vehicle left the roadway and struck numerous guardrails. The uninjured driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol.
Jessica Snider (age 35) of Bancroft, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
· Operation while impaired-alcohol and drugs
· Operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration-80 plus
The accused had her driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on September 3, 2020.
