Sunday is the Walk To End ALS.
It is going coast to coast, however this year’s walk will be done virtually.
Charmaine Loverin is the organizer for the Quinte Walk and says this is the 19th year for the local event, the first one online.
In the past, the Quinte walk has raised $775,000.
Sixty percent of the funds go to patient care, while 40 percent go to research.
They are encouraging everyone who is walking to post photos on social media.
