The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) has seized illegal drugs and recovered stolen property from a home in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake.
On June 11, 2020 at approximately 6:00 a.m., members of the Street Crime Unit, assisted by the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), executed a search warrant at a residence on Forsyth Street.
Police seized a quantity of suspected cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, hydromorphone pills, oxycodone pills and methadone, as well as ammunition, bear spray, items associated with drug trafficking and variety of suspected stolen property. Three people were arrested at the location.
Kimberly Ranger, age 49, Shawn Ranger, age 51 and Edward Tinker, age 61, all residents of Marmora and Lake Township have been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – five counts
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a Prohibition Order
