Belleville Police were kept busy with drinking drivers overnight. An officer attempted to stop a vehicle on North Front Street, at 1am, for speeding and the driver pulled into a drive thru the wrong way and came to a stop. A 23 year old Trenton man was arrested and charged with Blood Alcohol over 80mgs.
At about 2am, staff from a local bar attempted to take away a drivers keys but he fled in his vehicle. A 50 year old Belleville man was arrested for impaired driving and over 80 mgs.
and, at about 3:45am, police received a call about a vehicle in the ditch on Wallbridge-Loyalist road. Officers attended and arrested a 20 year old Belleville man for impaired driving.
