The City of Quinte West is looking to speed up the process for local businesses who want to open patios for the summer season.
Applications are now being taken for temporary patio spaces.
In a statement Wednesday afternoon Mayor Jim Harrison says it’s “another great step forward” in the city’s economic recovery and that the expedited process “will allow restaurants to get new and existing patios open for business as soon as possible”.
