Charges are being laid following alleged death threats against a woman and her pet.
Around 12 p.m. Thursday, Belleville Police were notified that a 21-year old woman, known to the complainant, had threatened to kill her and her dog.
The complainant was notified the suspect just left the hospital and was walking over to the woman’s house.
Officers waited at the victim’s home and a few minutes later the suspect emerged at the property.
A 21-year-old woman is charged with one count of death threats and another for death threats against an animal.
She was held in custody.
