The search is officially on for a new chief administrative officer in Quinte West.
Charlie Murphy announced in January that he would be retiring in mid-July, after 34 years working for the City of Quinte West, including the last six as CAO.
Now, a hiring sub-committee has been struck which includes Mayor Jim Harrison, Deputy Mayor Jim Alyea, a handful of councillors and city staff, plus a representative from executive search firm Palmer and Associates, who will lead the selection process.
The job will be advertised until June 26, with interviews expected to start in July.
