The Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board has approved the sale of a Marmora public school.
The board approved the sale to Fei Pan – A Company to be Incorporated, on Monday night during a virtual public board meeting.
The school was purchased at a price of $280,000.
Earl Prentice Public School, at 17 William Street, was declared surplus in October 2018 by the board.
There were no expressions of interest or offers from any of the Board’s preferred agencies, allowing the property to be listed on the open market on January 20, 2020.
The report did not mention what the future plans of the property may include.
