A Belleville man has been arrested after a young child was allegedly assaulted earlier this year.
A date of the initial incident wasn’t released, but OPP say they responded to a report that a child under five years old had been assaulted and taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries.
Investigators arrested 20-year-old Kyle Stuffels as a result of their findings and have charged him with assault causing bodily harm.
Stuffels was released with conditions and will appear in court in Picton at a later date.
No other information was released.
