Belleville council will make a final decision on the rezoning of part of a big warehouse in the east end of the city to allow a marijuana growing operation at its virtual meeting this afternoon (Monday).
It’s proposed a 6,000 square metre grow-op be located inside the 12,000 square metre warehouse at 665 Dundas Street East.
There has been little controversy about the proposal although there was some concern about odours emanating from the operation.
The city’s Planning Advisory Committee has recommended council approve the application.
