The Quinte West Public Library has announced the first stage in its phased reopening of library services.
The library’s return bins in Trenton and Frankford will reopen on Monday, May 25.
The library will quarantine all returned library material to ensure that the COVID-19 virus cannot be transmitted when the material goes out to the next borrower.
The return bins will be open for drop off of materials Monday – Friday 8:30-4:30.
As of June 1, they will begin their new curbside pick-up service.
The library will continue to provide updates as the situation develops further.
Quinte West residents who do not have a library card can apply online or contact the Library.
Library cardholders can continue to access online resources through www.library.quintewest.ca.
Library staff are also answering questions during office hours via email circ@quintewest.ca or customers can leave a voicemail at 613-394-3381.
