The Minister of Education for Ontario is a busy man.
Yesterday Stephen Lecce announced that classrooms would not reopen for students in this school year.
Appearing on CJBQ’s Lorne Brooker show today (Wednesday) the Minister said parents and students need to know that school is going to be a considerably different experience for everyone when September rolls around because of COVID-19.
Planning for the new school year is already underway.
Meanwhile, more standardized online learning is in the works and modifications are being made for some students to get extra help during the summer months.
Exactly how schools will reopen in September will be announced by the end of June.
