A Belleville man faces charges after speeding away from police late yesterday afternoon (Saturday).
Belleville police report a vehicle speeding on Dundas Street shortly after 5 o’clock. Officers tried to pull the vehicle over but it continued east before turning on to Point Anne Road where it ran off the road.
The driver sustained minor injuries.
Christian Tomas, 26, was charged with dangerous driving and flight from police and has a July 16 court date.
