Belleville police have laid charges against a city man after a disturbance early this morning (Sunday) in the Parkdale area of the city.
Officers responded after reports someone was brandishing a knife and threatening a group of people on Village Drive just after midnight.
After an investigation, 20-year-old Jacob Smit was arrested and charged with uttering threats and weapons dangerous.
He appears in court July 16.
