A local family has made a donation to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation, to help support frontline staff, during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The Foundation says Lanny and Catherine Huff have made a “significant donation” through The Huff Family Fund, to support pandemic response efforts at all four of Quinte Health Care’s hospitals.
The Huff Family Fund, which is managed by The County Foundation, was started in 2017 and encourages support of community groups in Prince Edward County.
The hospital foundation says the Huff Family allowed the publication of their donation, in hopes others will follow their lead and make much-needed donations as well.
Representatives with Quinte Health Care have said they are “extremely grateful” to receive the donation.
