A man is in custody after a brief stand-off with police early Sunday morning on the Tyendinaga Territory.
Reports indicate a man had barricaded himself inside a house on Ionas Road in Shannonville, just north of Old Highway 2, around 4 a.m.
Tyendinaga Police with assistance from the OPP, including members of an Emergency Response Team, responded.
A man was taken into custody and will face charges. No injuries were reported. It’s not known if weapons were involved.
Police cleared the scene before 6 a.m.
