There has been no change in the local COVID-19 case numbers since the weekend.
As of 11:00 this morning, Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is reporting a total of 38 confirmed cases in the two counties.
Two deaths have been reported, connected to the virus, with 17 people having recovered completely.
The health unit is also reporting 208 probable cases.
As of this morning, 1,853 people had been tested with 1,563 negative cases and 252 pending.
The positive case rate for the area, based on tests done and results received, is 2.4%, well below the national average of about 7%.
The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge Health Unit is still reporting a total of 147 confirmed cases in its area, with 13 of those in Northumberland County.
