There are no new cases of COVID-19 reported in Hastings and Prince Edward counties, leaving the number of cases unchanged since Thursday at 37.
However, according to the Hastings Prince Edward Public Health, one person has passed away with six more in the hospital and two in the Intensive Care Unit. About half of the positive cases are in the Belleville and Quinte West area.
Seventeen of the infected people have recovered from the illness.
There are 235 presumptive cases in the region.
