Three people from Quinte West and two from the Greater Toronto Area have been arrested after an OPP drug bust at a home on Ledgerock Court Tuesday.
Officers searched the home and seized a large amount of suspected cocaine, along with a BMW and more than $9,000 in Canadian cash.
Police arrested 24-year-old Rahim Omar Prince-Hasen of Pickering, 18-year-old Justice Wayne Phillips of Mississauga, along with 24-year-old Jason Mercer-Burningham, 21-year-old Jayda Mercer-Burningham and 24-year-old Kierena Lyne Audry Sly, all of Quinte West.
All five have been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Prince-Hasen was also charged with trafficking cocaine and three counts of breaching probation, while Phillips was also charged with six counts of failing to comply with a release order.
Both Jason and Jayda Mercer-Burningham and Sly have court dates in Belleville on June 15, while Prince-Hasen and Phillips were scheduled for bail hearings Tuesday.
