There was some OPP activity in Belleville Wednesday, but not much can be said about what happened.
OPP spokesperson Bill Dickson confirmed to Quinte News that there was some police presence and enforcement action being taken in the Bell Boulevard area, just after noon, but he says no more details are being put out “due to the nature of the ongoing investigation”.
He did say there is no threat to public safety and that more information on the incident will likely be released later this week.
