There is less traffic on the roadways these days, and that means a shorter wait at both ends of the Skyway bridge between Deseronto and The County.
The $63 million project will see the bridge get new girders, bearings, wing walls, additional lighting, new paved entrances to the bridge, a widening in both directions, a reconstruction of the abutments, and a new deck.
It is down to one lane until the end of December, with lights at both bridge entrances.
The work is being done in five sections, and will wrap up in 2024.
