Impaired Driver
On April 21, 2020 at 9:00 p.m., a patrol officer observed a vehicle driving erratically on Bell Blvd. The vehicle was stopped. The officer observed signs of intoxication and arrested the male for impaired driving. The accused was transported to Belleville Police Service and provided two breath samples. As a result, Terrance Boyle was charged with impaired driving and over 80. He was released on an undertaking with a court date of June 11, 2020.
Phone Scam
Police are advising the community of a new telephone scam. Police have received reports of persons representing themselves as home insurance providers and telling home owners that they are getting a refund. They then ask for the resident to for information from their cheques so a direct deposit can be made. Please do not provide any information.
