Alert Belleville police officers have laid charges after spotting a man believed to be stealing a vehicle in the east end of the city late yesterday (Wednesday) morning.
Police quickly intervened and stopped a suspect from driving away with the vehicle.
Facing attempt theft, possession of property obtained by crime, and other charges is 26-year-old Cole Robinson of Belleville.
He has a July court date.
