The Quinte region got a solid soaking yesterday. But despite the day long rains there is no new rainfall record.
According to Environment Canada and readings taken at CFB Trenton, 24.4 millimetres of rain came down in the area yesterday, or almost an inch.
However, the April 13 2004 record still stands. On that day 30.4 mm of rain landed in the Quinte area.
