The cause remains under investigation after fire destroyed a medium size commercial building in Stirling early yesterday (Saturday) morning.
Stirling Rawdon Fire Chief Derrick Little says the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office was consulted but is not involved in the investigation.
Businesses in the steel clad building included Farrell Designs, Excess storage units and a detailing shop.
The fire was reported just before 1 o’clock in the morning at the building which is located on Stirling Marmora Road near the municipal offices and fire hall in the village.
No one was injured and a damage estimate is not available.
