About 100 members of the Canadian military have begun a 14 day period of self-isolation at CFB Trenton’s Yukon Lodge.
A plane carrying the personnel landed at the base from Ukraine yesterday (Tuesday).
All of them were screened for COVID-19 symptoms before being allowed on the plane in Ukraine.
The soldiers had served a six month tour of duty as part of Operation UNIFIER. Members of the Canadian Armed Forces are sent to Ukraine to support that county’s Security Force by providing their troops with training.
