Northumberland OPP have charged a Cramahe Township resident after a collision on the weekend.
Police were called to a home on Percy Street near the village of Castleton on Sunday just before 5 p.m. where a vehicle allegedly struck a pole before leaving the scene.
Officers located the vehicle with significant front end damage but the driver was unharmed.
Anthony Mitchell was arrested and charged with operation while impaired, driving with cannabis readily accessible, failure to report an accident and failure to remain.
The 45-year-old will appear in Cobourg court in June.
