A Quinte West man is facing a murder charge after police began looking into a suspicious death this past Monday.
An investigation is underway at a home on Loyalist Parkway in Quinte West, involving the OPP Crime Unit and forensic services.
No details about the alleged incident or the victim have been released and a publication ban has been put in place on the release of further information, but police have charged 60-year-old Bryan David Callighan with second degree murder and indignity to a dead body.
He was held in custody and will make a video appearance in Belleville court on Saturday.
OPP are asking anyone who might have information on the case to contact them immediately.
