The Provincial Government is funding a mobile COVID-19 assessment centre in Trent Hills.
MPP David Piccini announced today that the testing centre will make scheduled stops in Campbellford, Warkworth and Hastings, and is in addition to the assessment centre already running at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg.
He says it’s another example of the province taking decisive action and unprecedented measures to respond to the novel coronavirus outbreak.
The assessment centre will be run by the Trent Hills Family Health Team, with help from Northumberland County Ambulance and Paramedic Service and the Campbellford Memorial Hospital.
The funding comes from a $3.3 billion provincial investment out of the Responding to COVD-19 Ontario Action Plan.
