As of 4 p.m. Friday, March 27, Quinte Waste Solutions has suspended their Electronic Waste (E-Waste) program at their Material Recovery Facility located at 270 West Street, Trenton.
This program will remain closed until further notice. Their top priority at this time is the health and safety of their staff and the residents they serve.
The company will be focusing all staff efforts on recycling as their core service.
All residents are asked to hold onto their e-waste in a responsible manner.
They ask that you continue to have your properly sorted blue box recycling outside for 7 a.m.
As a reminder, if you are in quarantine due to recent travel or have potentially been exposed to COVID-19, you must hold onto your recyclables until after your 14-day isolation period has ended.
Quinte Waste Solutions continues to keep its website and social media platforms updated with current information regarding all programs including Household Hazardous and Electronic Waste and the Blue Box Recycling Program.
