Although Prince Edward County, Hastings County, and Quinte West have declared States of Emergency, Brighton and Belleville officials say they are not quite there yet.
Brian Ostrander, the mayor of Brighton tells Quinte News they are meeting with the Community Control Group Thursday afternoon.
Ostrander says if the COVID-19 pandemic, and high water levels both continue to elevate, they may need to announce.
Belleville Mayor Mitch Panciuk says they are not going to declare just because other jurisdictions have.
