A 36-year-old from Kingston will appear in Napanee court in June to face charges after a police pursuit on the 401 on the weekend.
Lennox and Addington OPP report around 3 p.m. officers on patrol observed a vehicle attempting to enter the eastbound 401 in the westbound lanes at Palace Road before turning around in the median and continuing eastbound.
The driver, Mohamed Bashier Ibrahim continued to drive after police initiated a traffic stop.
Ibrahim is charged with flight from a peace officer and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
