Residents have been cautioned to practice social distancing as much as possible and it is important to remember this precaution applies to all ages, not just adults. It is recommended that a minimum of two metres be kept to prevent the spread of the virus. Parents are encouraged to find ways for their children to be outdoors in the fresh air but to avoid groups of children playing closely together.
Parents are reminded to consider posted signage as well as recommendations from Hastings Prince Edward Public Health and government officials before proceeding to use city playgrounds.
