The number of people confirmed to be infected with the COVID-19 virus and already in quarantine and under care at CFB Trenton has doubled.
Canada’s chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam confirmed over the weekend that four people in quarantine have the virus.
They are among over 200 Canadians airlifted away from a huge cruise ship in Oakland California a few days ago.
Upon landing at CFB Trenton, all of the passengers and crew were placed under quarantine for a minimum of 14 days.
None of those people will be in contact with the general public.
