Theft of package from door step
On March 12, 2020, at 7 p.m., police attended an east end address regarding a theft of a package. Officers were advised that an unknown female walked up to the front door of a residence and stole a package from the front step. The female then left in a red hatchback believed to be a Honda Fit. Wanted youth arrested
On March 12, 2020 at 10:05 a.m., and officer on patrol on Farley Avenue observed a 14-year-old male who was wanted for breaching his probation. Police attempted to speak with the male, however, he started to run through nearby yards. After a short chase, the male was apprehended without issue. He was held for a bail hearing. Due to his age, his name will not be released.
Suspended driver
On March 12, 2020 at 8:40 p.m., officers observed a vehicle on Coleman Street that had an expired temporary permit. Police stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver. The female driver initially identified herself using false identification, however, the investigating officer recognized her. Jessica Rose, 27, of Belleville was charged with driving under suspension. She was given a summons to appear in court on April 6, 2020.
