Part of Belleville’s Riverfront Trail is going to be closed starting Monday.
The Sagonaska Bridge (where North Front Street becomes Pinnacle Street) Rehabilitation project is going to close the trail under the bridge, as upgrades take place.
The trail, which runs along the Moira River, will have intermittent closures over the next two years.
Work on the bridge itself will begin in mid-April, however there will always be one lane of traffic in each direction, and one sidewalk always available.
Cost of the work is $4.13 million.
