With the “OHL Cup” ten days away the Quinte Foley Bus Lines Red Devils are still number two in Ontario on the weekly Minor Midget rankings.
The Toronto Junior Canadiens hold down top spot.
The rankings are determined by a panel of OHL Central Scouting staff and help determine the 20 teams from across North America that will compete in the annual Showcase Tournament in Toronto.
The Red Devils will host the 5 team “AAA” Minor Midget OMHA championship at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre this weekend.
(Full schedule below)
Quinte’s first game is Friday at 2 against the Whitby Wildcats at Mackay Insurance rink.
The other teams competing are the Oshawa Generals, Niagara North Stars and the Southern Tier Admirals.
The 2020 OHL Cup is scheduled for March 17-23. All games will be played at Scotiabank Pond in Toronto until the Championship Final moves to the Mattamy Athletic Centre on Monday, March 23.
