Planned construction activity in Prince Edward County is lagging a little behind last year’s pace for the first two months of the year.
To the end of February, 69 building permits were issued in the county for a total value of a little over $9 million.
In the first two months of last year, 89 permits were issued with a construction value of over $10.3 million in Prince Edward County.
Last month, most of the construction value of the permits issued was for four new houses with a total value of $2 million.
