According to Real Peoples Media large tents were set up near the tracks overnight.
And protesters tried to block rail tracks in the west end of Kingston this morning. City police responded and further detail isn’t available.
Meanwhile, policing, pipelines and blockades will be on the table at a meeting set for this afternoon between Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs and the federal and British Columbia governments.
Yesterday, Public Safety Minister Bill Blair appeared to dismiss the notion that the RCMP will move completely out of the vast Wet’suwet’en territory, because that would leave some communities without policing services.
