Police presence in Tyendinaga remains heavy today (Tuesday) but according to OPP very early this morning the CN VIA Rail tracks remain clear.
However, many OPP officers remained watchful on the north side of the tracks while a few Mohawk protesters and supporters stood around a fire well back of the tracks on the south side at Wyman Road.
Loud rap music blared from speakers near the tracks there.
Meanwhile, at the Highway 49 rail crossing, protesters maintained a small camp well away from the rail corridor.
OPP reported no serious issues overnight.
Meanwhile the Globe and Mail has reported at least one CN freight train moved through the area yesterday. VIA Rail trains remain cancelled between Toronto and Montreal and Toronto and Ottawa.
