As of 12:00 a.m. Monday, a demonstration site along the CN tracks on Wyman Road was still up, despite discussions between the OPP and those at the tracks Sunday.
Liaison officers went to the camp Sunday afternoon. They told demonstrators the wishes of CN rail. They said if all the equipment, tents, supplies, and people left by 11:59 p.m. Sunday evening, CN would not pursue charges against anyone involved.
The deadlines came and went, as as of 12:45 a.m. Monday morning, the demonstrators stayed in position, and no police presence came in. OPP were several hundred metres north of the site.
One person at the site drove towards the media at midnight and gave her thoughts on the situation. SEE BELOW (caution strong language)
