Motor Vehicle Collisions
Over the past 24 hours, The Belleville Police Service responded to nine motor vehicle collisions. Fortunately, all of the incidents reported property damage only with no injuries to the occupants.
Shoplifting Incident
On February 20, 2020 at approximately 3:36 p.m., police officers attended a north end business for a report of a female shoplifter. Upon arrival, officers ascertained that the female stole approximately $200 worth of merchandise and exited the store without making any attempts to pay for it. A 27-year-old Belleville woman was charged with theft under $5000 and given a first appearance on March 19, 2020.
