Quinte West will call on the Good Roads Association during its conference in Toronto to consider the losses suffered by farmers because of the high water situation.
Mayor Jim Harrison tells Quinte News he intends to ask if there will be any help for them.
Harrison, a former president of the Ontario Good Roads Association, says he wants to see it get back together with the Rural Ontario Municipal Association.
The Good Roads Conference opens in Toronto on Sunday.
