Officers at Joyceville Institution have made a significant contraband seizure in the Assessment Unit.
Assistant Warden Lorrie Oddie says officers were processing an inmates personal items in the Admissions and Discharge area on Monday and found 39.55 grams of THC concentrate, with an institutional value of close to $40,000.
Oddie says institution staff are investigating and police have also been notified.
No other details were released.
