Belleville Police Service responded to 72 calls for service from February 10, 2020 at 5 a.m. to February 11, 2020 at 5 a.m.
Motor Vehicle Collisions
Police received reports of 10 motor vehicle collisions throughout the city over the past 24 hours. None of the accidents resulted in personal injury.
Shoplifter
On February 10,2020 at 3:45 p.m., police attended a west end retail store with regards to a report of shoplifting. The suspect was not on scene upon police arrival but he was identified as a 23-year-old Belleville resident. Police are continuing their investigation and no charges have been laid thus far.
Theft
On February 10, 2020, police received a report from a north end restaurant that a male removed a Dyson hand dryer from the washroom and left the restaurant with it. The suspect was caught on video and police are asking if anyone has any information with regards to theft to contact Cst. Joy at Djoy@police.belleville.on.ca
