One of the top defencemen in the Ottawa Senators organization is coming back to Belleville to begin an injury rehab.
Christian Wolanin was assigned to Belleville from Ottawa on Monday.
Wolanin has missed all of the season after injuring his shoulder prior to training camp and is now getting set to get back into game shape.
The 24 year-old had seven goals and 24 assists with Belleville last season, while also registering 4 goals and 8 assists in 30 NHL games in Ottawa.
There has been no confirmation yet if he’ll be in the line up on Friday night when the B-Sens host the Toronto Marlies.
