Public elementary school teachers will escalate their job actions as contract talks with the provincial government remain stalled.
Elementary teachers with the Hastings Prince Edward District School Board will be off the job today (Monday) and again tomorrow as all public elementary school teachers in Ontario will stage a one-day walkout.
And on Friday, elementary school teachers employed by the Kawartha Pine Ridge School Board will walk off the job.
Secondary school teachers will also be staging one-day strikes this week but none will affect the Quinte region.
